Legend
- Year
- Model year published by the brand or a retailer. "≈ 2025": the brand publishes no model year, so the year is estimated from the model's release date (product page going live, announcement, launch video). The Year filter shows the last three years by default.
- Price
- Public price of the parawing, in euros, taken from the brand's website in October 2026, excluding any discount ("—" when the brand does not show it).
- Area
- Parawing area published by the brand, in m². The larger it is, the more it pulls in light wind.
- Span and aspect ratio
- Span published by the brand, in metres, and aspect ratio = span² ÷ area, recomputed; the brand's figure is shown in brackets when it differs.
- Weight
- Parawing weight published by the brand ("—" when not given).
- Wind range (brand)
- Wind stated by the brand for this size, in knots. When the brand gives it by rider weight, the table shows the one for a 65 to 85 kg rider; hover over the cell to see the others.
- Control
- Bar on bridles or soft handles (toggles): how you steer the parawing.
About this comparator
Parawing comparator
Compare two or three parawings, from the same brand or from different brands: area, span, aspect ratio, weight, control (bar on bridles or handles), the brand's published wind range and price, with the brand's photo.
Which size?
A bigger parawing pulls harder and gets you going in less wind, but it is slower to handle and bulkier once packed. A small parawing flies more nimbly and disappears on a downwind run, provided there is enough wind.
Specifications, wind ranges and photos come from the brands' websites: click the photo or the site name to open the original page.
